Does the ways you speak Mandarin reflect where you’re from?This App is a critical part of a social linguistics research project aimed to understand how Taiwan people of different age, gender, and area speak Mandarin. In this App, the person will first play a few dialect guessing game. After answering some questions, the App will guess which area of Taiwan the person came from! After that, the person is asked to share some information about him or herself. Finally, this app will record the person speaking some sentences, which will help analyzing how Taiwan people of different age, gender, and areas speak Mandarin.
